If the customer is completely sure of the specification, this stage is unnecessary. However, our advice is to include this step in the plan in any case.
Even the most exact specification can miss some details. Sometimes just actually seeing the completed product in action makes you realize it is necessary to modify or adjust it. We give our customers a unique opportunity to fine-tune a product, bringing in insignificant changes to a mostly ready product (Beta Version).
Most development companies do not allow customers to change Software Requirements till the project is completely handed over on the basis of the original specification. This takes place for two reasons:
Our customers have an opportunity to make modifications in Software Requirements after demonstration of Beta Version and before the final QA will be made. This gives our customers an opportunity to avoid losses of two of their most valuable resources: time and money, because we do not carry out many types of work twice. This difference enables 4eSolution to ensure 100% satisfaction to the customers.
This stage needs the active participation of the customer's representative with daily mutual contact and immediate notice of required changes. This allows us, in a short space of time, to get a better product and following versions of a product.
Duration and cost of this stage completely depends on the customer.
We usually include a small quantity of man-hours on Tuning Stage in the Cost Estimation by default. In case of numerous changes, expense of time can exceed this value. In this case, additional man-hours on tuning are paid separately. At this stage, we also allocate a specific amount of days in the Timetable.
At this point, the team is sometimes compelled to await feedback from the customer while not having other tasks to occupy them. We charge the customer only on cost of actual hours spent (not calendar days). Therefore, we ask that our customers promptly reply with feedback, questions, etc. in order to maintain the work schedule within the designated Timetable.
